Bus
The Ressacada Stadium is located 5 minutes from the Florianópolis-Hercílio Luz International Airport and 20 minutes from the downtown area by bus. The stadium complex is served by buses run by Insular Transporte Coletivo (www.insulartc.com.br). There are 3 lines (No. 153, 183 and 186) serving the stadium from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm on weekdays and from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The cost of the ride to the downtown area is about R$ 2.95. Major beaches are served by public transport as well.
Hospitals
In addition to 4 club doctors, there is good medical care in the city (Hospital Governador Celso Ramos and Hospital de Caridade). We ask all academy participants to come to Brazil with a health insurance which covers sports activities during your stay in Brazil.
Cell phone
Vivo, Claro, TIM and Oi are major cell phone operators in the region. You can buy a new SIM card for R$ 10 to R$15. You can use your same tri-band cell phone and receive calls from your home country.

Electric voltage in Santa Catarina is 220 V and frequency is 60 Hz.

Banco do Brasil, Itaú, Bradesco, Caixa Economica Federal and Santander are major banking groups with network throughout Brazil. You can use your credit card from your country to take money out from cash distributers found throughout the city.
